I started doing professional photography jobs when I was just 10 years old, photographing at the Detroit Zoo and taking candids at parties & Bar Mitsvahs.
I went on to photograph bands for a living, also writing about and reviewing them.
In High School I was on the journalism staff and was also the school photographer, taking photos of the games, events, dances, and students for the Yearbooks. While in school, I took several night courses in photography at the local community college.
After High School, I attended the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and received a BA in Fine Art Photography.
Soon after graduation I traveled the country and stopped at every National Park and wildlife sanctuary that I passed and photographed the wildlife.
I ended up in Arizona and I continued to photograph wildlife there, both in the wild and at zoos. I became a volunteer with Liberty Wildlife, where I was trained to rescue and handle Birds of Prey, and I traveled around teaching people about the birds and animals that live in the area.
In 2002, I moved to South Florida, where I now reside, and I am enjoying all of the wildlife here and the many opportunities to capture unique and beautiful images in this diverse habitat.
My specialty is in photographs of Wading Birds, Birds of Prey, & Big Cats.
