I have always been interested in photography. My Mom gave me a Brownie Camera in 1960 and since then it has been a hobby for me. I'm a dabbler, really. My love of the outdoors and nature is reflected in all my interests, especially pictures. Growing up in the Metropolitan Washington DC area has been a slow slide into the sprawl of suburbia, but, thanks to dedicated like minded naturalists, a surprising number of oasis exist. I work for the Park Service so I get to see a lot of the oft overlooked bits and pieces. Mushrooms have been a love of late, as reflected in my portfolio.
