I am a native of Rogers City, Michigan and a nature photographer.
Rogers City is located in the Northeastern section of the Lower Penninsula. I sometimes refer to our area as a last "wild frontier" as it has an abundance of wildlife in it's woodlands, lakes and rivers.
In the Spring I concentrate on the birds and the many wild flowers found in the woodlands. In the summer I enjoy photographing the flower gardens in our yard and the beautiful butterfly's they attract. During the fall season I chase the whitetails and try to capture the magnificant fall colors. The white of the snow is a great challenge to photograph during the winter season.
My equipment of choice is Canon! I feel Canon gives me the best tools available for my photographic needs...especially for birds.
