I am a PhD student in molecular and structural biology. I enjoy photography, particularly macro, travel, and landscape photography, as a recreational hobby if time permits. Macro photography allows me to completely immerse myself in the often unseen world of the small things and tiny creatures, discovering detail that is invisible to the naked eye. When on holidays or hiking, trying to capture a memorable landscape image is a constant challenge.
Since I started participating on NPN by posting images (initially taken with a digital compact camera) for critique every once in a while, things have changed in an unexpected way, both in terms of equipment and efforts. The result is the growing collection of images available for viewing on my website and in my portfolio on this site here. I hope you find some you like.
