Last Fall (2005) I decided to take up Nature Photography after a trip to Alaska. The scenery and wilderness there was amazing and shortly after returning to Austin, TX I quickly upgraded from a digital point and shoot to a digital SLR. Since then, I have become very involved in photography and shoot on a weekly basis, primarily in Texas State Parks, Wildlife Refuges & Bird Sanctuaries.
My current equipment includes a Canon Digital Rebel XT Body, Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM, Canon Extender EF 1.4x, and Canon EFS 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM.
