Welcome to my Nature & Wildlife Photo Portfolio!!
I'm not a professional Photographer. I'm a self-taught Engineer who through insatiable curiosity and a passion to learn and experience everything I can, have had the opportunity to travel the world and "Expand my Environment". You can learn more about that later this month, when I post my official website. (link to follow)
I've had a keen interest in the beauty of Nature for as long as I can remember.
Since I started traveling the Globe over 14 years ago, I've been blessed with being able to witness some incredible sights.
I started out with 35mm back in the 70's and got my first digital camera in the early 90's. It was low resolution back then, but I managed to get some high quality shots to share with friends and family and an occasional publication.
I up-graded to a Nikon D70 DSLR system when they first came out, and will be upgrading again to a Nikon D2x before long.
I am deeply indebted to all the wonderful Nature Photographers around the world, for peaking my interest in this adventure. It all started with photos I saw as a child, in Outdoor Life magazine, and of course, National Geographic.
Since then, and especially since the digital technology has advanced to this stage, I've turned into a walking sponge with a camera belt hanging around my waist. I'm soaking up everything I can learn, and finding beautiful subjects to photograph, everywhere I look.
Like I said, I'm not a professional Photographer. I already have an occupation and career. I have a unique opportunity through my work, to photograph and record some of the beauty I find in life.
I hope you enjoy these scenes from my
"Ever-Expanding Environment".
