I am a non-pro nature photographer living in northwestern Italy, Piedmont region. My passion for nature photography started when I was twelve (about forty years ago...), when I was gifted my first SLR camera. Since then, I enjoy wandering outdoors, especially in the Alps, trying to illustrate what I see. For the sake of fun and pleasure, I use different gears, from Nikon digital to medium and large format. In past years, I have participated in a few nature photography exhibits and published photos and articles on national nature magazines and books. I am now particularly interested in building "natural stories" with the aid of photographic images. Recently, I have been involved in the realization of scientific documentary movies.
