Alex specializes in making images of New England wildlife, especially birds and mammals. He has been published in Nature Photographer Magazine, Natural New England Magazine and was retained by the USAF to document bird life nesting at Cape Cod Air Force Station in Massachusetts. He frequently contributes his time and images to the Mass. Audubon Society (MAS) and also teaches basic nature photography for the MAS. Most recently Alex traveled to the Gulf Coast of Louisiana with fellow photographer Shawn Carey to document the effects of the oil disaster on the wildlife.
