I wanted to cut the flower in the back off but every time I do that for some reason my wife yells at me. Canon Rebel XTi, 1 Second Exposure, f/16, ISO 400, 100mm Lens.

Nice one Dale. Very fresh "after the rain" look about this. I like the way the rim of the center of 2nd flower just barely peeks "over the shoulder" of the fg flower. Next time, I'd try some comps that play that up a little bit more. Perhaps just the slightest change in angle. Would also try a circular polarizer or diffusing panel to control the highlights. Some of the drops are very bright. And the flower's center looks interesting but kind of... well... slimy...

Thank You Catherine and I got a laugh out of the "slimy" part of the comment. <g>

Very weird, Dale, I was in the middle of comment when firefox went south; so hopefully you won't get two comments.
I was saying I like the image and I think it is unique because of the background flower.
I too got a kick out of Catherine's "slimy" comment But I on the other hand think the raindrops are perfection.

Dale,
Congratulations on the EP for this. It's a good looking image and flower. I particularly like the black bg.
