of crest length. Enough energy to power 23 homes per meter of wave. "Over the next 10 years the oregon coast is looking at the installation of five to seven high-output wave Parks." and .2% of the energy in the ocean would meet all of the energy needs of the planet. Post photos of waves and read about it in Oregon Coast Magazine.

At any rate, this should kill fewer songbirds than wind towers do. I imagine all of the shorebirds and gulls will take up residence on the energy buoys and we will never see them again.

Cape Perpetua.

A lovely image, Robert. You've done an excellent job on portraying the energy generated by the winds and the waves. I like the vertical composition.

Yea... they are talking about harnessing the Gulf Stream on the east coast also... It is non stop motion. The future looks to be quite interesting in many ways. Hope I live to seem some of it come into being.

You caught the strength of the wave in the middle of it. Nice image,

I love the reading and the shot. That would be money so very well spent Rob and I will follow this idea up. I've never seen this method mentioned here and yet, we are 2 islands covered with shoreline and strong waves at that. Very thought provoking Robert. Oh yeah, one heck of a shot BTW, another strong and powerful image to go with the text and the idea. Brilliant. :toast: :toast:

All the best Robert and a huge thanks for getting me thinking down here. Thats a bonus in my book.

Danny.

Right on, you accomplished the shot I've always wanted to take very nicely. A lot of force on those weaves. Great timing. Nice job.

Sensational capture of the sweeping force of ocean wave. Cool idea about harnessing that energy.
