Sandy,

very moody image, and good done from composition and technical point of view...

Hi Sandy,

Lovely shot! I really like the snow falling as it adds to the atmosphere! Nice pose from the subject.

I like it.

It seems the only time I can get a picture of a coyote is when it's snowing - in reviewing mine I can't find a single one where it's not snowing.

Hi Sandy. Where'd you get this shot? I like the mood of the image... You can see that he is very alert. Must be from that fight.

Nice photo Sandy, I like the pose and the environment. Not too sure about the cut off shrub at the bottom, perhaps a looser comp with the coyote in a less centered location and more shrub?

Other then the bloody ear Sandy, this coyote looks to be in excellent shape. This is a perfect capture here and truly shares with us some fine details on this wonderful creature. Very nice work, Sandy, and congratulations on this weeks EP selection for this category too. :toast:

Woooo-hooo! Sandy, you're rockin' the place with this image. Absolutely terrific with the animal's pose and eye contact, the mood created by the falling snow, a dof that minimizes but does not reduce the importance and impact of the animal's habitat in the bg. What a score! Congrats for the EP on this gorgeous photo. :toast:
