Wow, Ian! This is a stunner! Love the warm colors and detail! The tiniest nit - there's a small speck in the lower right that stands out against the yellow. Bravo! :toast:

Excellent, excellent image. Get rid of the few dust mites at some point. Love the depth of focus. The ULC completes this image for me.

Wow Ian, you really got close up. I really like the blending tones of orange to yellow. The brown stamens are a great contrast. Excellent detail and light. :toast:

Ian,

Much of your work reminds me of architectural photography. This is no exception. I love the sense of space and the light in this. An exceptionally fine image IMO.

ian -

The palette - from the deep orange to the lush yellows to the velvet blush of violet on the anthers - makes this image. Exposure is perfect. Was this window light, and was it in the AM?

What a beauty Ian! The colors are all in harmony and with very nice hues. You have a personal color palette. I like the composition too rising diagonally from the yellow basis.
Take care.
