Olympus E-3, 300mm w/ 2.0TC
f5.7, 1/160, ISO400, handheld laying on my belly

Taken at Wickham State Park, Florida. Someone had left food out for feral cats. It was raided by Blue Jays, Red-bellied Woodpeckers and six Northern Raccoons. I wish folks wouldn't feed the cats, but it does bait in some amazing critters.

C & C, please.

Hi Jim,
a really good portrait of the raccoon. I like the comp and low angle.
Only the eyes could be a bit sharper. I imagine this is because of the low shutter speed and 600mm focal length.

Congrats on the weekly pick Jim. I hadn't seen this - 1200 mm equiv. handheld? That's pretty impressive.

Very good shot! I love the angle you've used and his pose. Considering that you used the equivalent of 600mm tele, it is amazing how clear the image is.
