Wonderful variety of color Michael. I really like the textures of the grass and leaves with the tree trunks bringing it all together. Excellent sharpness all around. :toast:

Tremendous image, Michael ! I'm guessing this could have seemed like a pretty ordinary spot to many people - you've brought out so much with the comp and the colours and a feeling for the grass as well as the shrubs and trees.

This is beautiful, Michael. I love the colors and comp and variety of plants and especially the depth of the shot. That is some comfy looking grass too. Terri

Fantastic detail and color. A beautiful, intimate scene, Micheal. And what an eye for the comp on this one. It's a homer for sure. Congrats on the EP!

I must thank Bill if I now see this splendid image that I lost before. I feel like a bird watching from the branches of a tree. An emotion. A great depth, besides the beautiful colors. A splendid capture, Michael.
Cheers.

I find it interesting that the five diagonal tree trunks lead my eye to the center of the image where it gets caught in the nicely detailed leaves. As I roam around the image the trees drag me back down again. Nice to be caught like that. Digital is quick, rewarding and an excellent media for most uses but the look of Velvia can't be beat and always lures me back to the 67.
