An elephant´s trunk is a power pack of more than 10.000 individual muscles, It is strong enough to push down a tree and sensitive enough to pick up a single flower. I took the picture in Etosha, Namibia.

Nikon F-90 with 400mm, Velvia, beanbag

Barcelona/Spain.

Tis truly amazing how they can control that appendage - forcefully or gently! Nice detail here and great color! The only suggestion I would make is to back up just a tiny bit to bring the eye down lower in the frame and to keep the trunk from hitting the edge of the frame.

Nice composition. I agree with given some extra space on the left hand side.

Gret shot! The line, texture, and intimacy are outstanding.

This is a wonderfully fresh presentation of an often photographed subject.

This is really nice. The detail and texture in this make me keep looking at it for a long time. As someone said, it's a very intimate image. Nicely done.
