Hello from Barbara in Fairbanks, Alaska

I have been an Alaska for 30+ years now and absolutely love Alaska! I am still very much an amateur phtographer, but I love taking photos especially of birds and flowers, animals and landscapes, sunsets and just about everything else! I am thoroughly enjoying the forums and the galleries and it is a pleasure to be among such wonderful photographers! I have been taking photos since I was ten or twelve. My parents took us to several National Parks on vacations and I fell in love with nature. I got my Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1977.
Digital Cameras are wonderful! My husband got me my first digital in 2000 because film developing was so expensive.... I take a lot of pohotos!! Now I just want more zoom....(SMILE)
