WC #307 Curly Beech Leaf
by Wayne Jones
On my way down from a sunrise visit to an Adirondack summit, the texture of this sunlit beech leaf on the trail caught my eye. I sat right down in the middle of the trail (no other hikers that early) to shoot this. I wonder if anyone else noticed it before it was trampled later that day.

9 commentsThe whole image is great and I just know if I came along with a foot, all of the leaves would crunch; they are so crisp!
Very nice.
