Grass Snake

I have been spending alot of time this summer and autumn photographing reptiles. This young Grass Snake was found by a lake near to my home. It was very small so depth of field was a problem with the macro.

Canon EOS 1D Mk11, 180mm Lens, F11, 1/60, ISO Rating 200.

This is terrific, Danny! I think you composed this one perfectly. The reflection is great and the tones and intimacy shine.

Danny,
Such a superb image. The clarity is just awesome, as are the colors, detail and the comp.

Very nice capture. Detail and light are very nice, as is your comp. The only thing that detracts, and there's nothing you could have done about it, is the drop of water below the jaw. This is just personal preference on my part. Still, a very nice capture.

Really nice shot Danny. Excellent colors and clarity. The reflection pushes this one over the top. It almost looks like he is on a mirror. :toast:
