Carnation

Just playing with some pieces of Photoshop I've never really used before on a record shot of a carnation. The results are better than the photo, which with the original considered, wasn't too hard to accomplish

Ordinarily, I'd be happy to explain what I did, but since I don't know and was using unfamilar part of of the program, I can't.

Very cool Dan, even though it does remind me of a frosted windowpane.

It does look like frost on a pane of glass and very beautiful at that!

Absolutely striking. The lower half shows clearly the flower and it seems to fade to backlit etched glass. Great imagination and implementation.

Ah, the best kind of fun with a gorgeous result: fussin' with buttons and sliders until you lose your way completely and at the end sit back in your chair grinning like the cheshire cat. This is really cool, Dan. Congrats on the EP. For heavens sake, play some more and post 'em for us!

Very well done even though you don't know what you did or where, but if you find out do it some more, if you want, ok. Seriously though Dan, I think this is great. Frosted glass was my immediate response as well.
