Hi folks, I have been absent from this site for a while and would like to be active here again. So, here is a shot from this summer, quite possibly my favorite flight shot of the year.

Canon 1D MK 11 N / Cqnon 500 f4 IS / 1/2000th @ f5.6 ISO 400 / handheld

Absolutely gorgeous!! I was fortunate to capture quite a few RHW images this summer but not a single flight shot. I find them to be incredibly beautiful birds but a real challenge to expose properly and you've nailed this one! :toast: :toast:

Hi David! VERY nice shot!! I happened to look at your past posts and noticed that all the shots are flight shots. Do you shoot anything else and when can we see those too? My all time fave of yours is the snowy owl, it still blows my mind!!!
