Monarch Migration

by Patricia Brundage

The day I picked to go to the beach brought me many surprises, thousands as a matter of fact... monarchs. Here is another goldenrod with two monarchs attached. Taken with Canon 20D, using 100-400 IS lens.

Never quite sure where butterflies fit in the posting mix.

Comments always welcomed.

I like the image a lot thou I think a contrast and saturation move could really make this pop

Patricia,

a very nice image. If you like you could play around with the contrast as sugested, but I do like it also as it is...

Very nice image Patricia! I think it works very well as it is, and I like the subdued color on the underside of their wings.

Just absolutely stunning, Patricia. Maybe a bit more colour, but great as is. I think this would be great in the micro and close-up forum with the other lovely butteryfly images. I looked at your portfolio and the images are just beautiful.
