I'm not really a wildlife photographer, but these mountain goats came up and posed for me as I was photographing Red Cone in Colorado, so I had to take some shots...

Grant,
Very nice wildlife shot. I really like the kid contrasted against the darker blue background. Also, it may or may not have been windy, but that's sure the impression I get from the thick fur on the back of the mother's neck standing up like it is.
Mountain goats must like to have their picture taken. :-) Nice shot

Great shot Grant. The pose and BG and awesome. It looks a little blown on the young one - I would be tempted to try to selectively reprocess maybe (assuming this is digital) to try to get a little detail back. Very cool.

Thanks for the comments. David, you're right about part of the kid goat being overblown. I was a little lazy when preparing this image. I think I've mostly fixed this. I'm hotlinking to the image, so the original is now updated.
