Taken at the little outdoor restaurant at the Catalina Island airport. These two Ravens were eyeing someones Cheeseburger. So was I.

Great shot. Love the perch, the almost monochromatic look.

It's got an art print look to it. Very interesting effect. The head pose in the lower bird is terrific.

Highly original and pleasing to look at. Reminds me of that kind of kitchen art where the ckicken is standing on the pig's back, etc.

It's lovely:) It does look like a painting with the background.

Really great image. It has a very J.J. Audubon look to it. One thing though, depending on what angle I'm looking at my laptop screen, it can look a little gray rather than black, might think of darkening it down just a shade. But I really like this, atypical and beautiful.
Best,
Dave

Charlie,
I like this image. Other than that, it's different enough that having looked at it several times now, I'm still not sure how to assess it. It has a graphics feel and while there's no Escherian space in it, it reminds me of Escher. Neat image.

Charlie, I've looked at this a long time. Wish I had the training or aesthetic sense to know why I like it so much, but I do.

Very cool shot, Charlie. Wish there was a little more catch light in eye of the top bird, but hey, he must have chossen a different angle of view on that cheeseburger. Great capture for handholding that heavy lens.

Congratulations on the EP, Charlie.
I have only one question. Are these Ravens or are they crows ?
One tiny nit; I would love to see the eye of the upper Raven.
And one comment. I think someone else beat me to the punch. This definitely has an Audubon feel to it.
Very, very nice.
