Hi all:
I'm from Thornhill, Ontario, Canada, a suburb north of Toronto. I had a Canon Powershot S100 with Adobe PhotoDeluxe for years and outgrew it quite some time ago. I finally got it together to get a Nikon D50 with Nikkor 17-200mm lens and Photoshop CS2 over the past 6 months. I'm totally loving it, though just scratching the surface of photography, camera, and post processing. As learning is one of my passions, I trust this combination will keep me going for some time to come Until the finances allow more anyway!
I'm educated as a civil engineer from University of Toronto many years ago, worked as engineering/computer programmer, and currently work as a medical transcriptionist for a large Toronto area hospital (yes, major career change). I work full time over 4 days of the week so I have 3 days for playing piano, gardening, landscaping, photography, learning, sewing, hiking, bike riding, and generallly living life with my husband/best friend.
