Excellent work John! The trumpet is really blowing. The beautiful green make the picture for me.
John, I know that you have many times told to yourself: "Pity that I have not leaved more air for breathing to the upper rim (I have studied!).
Take care.

Great color and exposure John. Beautiful shot. I think I might agree with Gigi and give a little more room at the top.

John, this is quite beautiful. I posted a similar image recently and just never felt like it was quite how I wanted it to look. I like your image of this so much. I think the angle of the trumpet with the great detail in the center really makes this for me. I like the repost but was fine with the original too. Great job!

The rework is OUTSTANDING, that little bit at the top just added to an already great comp. Congrats on the EP, well deserved.

My apologies for skipping over this; once again tricked by a thumbnail that did NO justice to this masterpiece.
It's magnificent, John! Congrats on the EP-- you Go! boy!
Congrats to Helen's green thumb, too!

John, Your spring Trumpet is beautiful.
I like the reworked version with the breathing room even better. The colors and composition are great.
I hate to ad a nit because your image is so grand but I would suggest softening the lightest white arrow on the left. I think it's a tad distracting.
BTW, thanks for sharing the names of the flower parts. I think that's very cool to do.
Regards,
Carol
