12 Apostles, Port Campbell National Park
Part of my Great Ocean Road series. These clouds in the late afternoon light provided the opportunity for the rare vertical shot here.
Specifications : Gitzo tripod, polarizer, ISO 100, f22, shutter 1/5.
Nikon D200, Nikkor 12-24mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S DX

A special place and some serious clouds, great light . my only small not would be the foreground cliff being a bit dark

This is truly a beautiful image. This scene relaxes me very much and has me feeling stress free.

I can't imagine how you were feeling at this moment, must have been great!!!

Beautiful light and clouds.

I would agree that the foreground cliff is a tad dark , but overall excellent image!!!!!
Would love to see that lightened up a bit if possible

Nice light Kah. Lately I've been taking photos in "normal" daylight also and have found it rewarding once again. Harder to control exposure range of course but there is something magic about the first true light (or last light) of the day.

My list of places to see before I go just keeps getting bigger. A very nice image. I have seen this a couple of times before with stormy wheather. I like this with the wonderful light reflecting off of the cliffs. I can see how more light on the foreground could be nice. But I like the contrast with the image the way it is. :smile:

Kah Kit, what I really like is how the funnel of clouds and the cliffs both drag my eyes into the photo. I do agree with Mike that the foreground is a bit dark but I don't think it's a serious distraction.
