....this was my view on my way home from the Apostle Islands NP Ice Caves last night. It's a bit of a walk but this is looking to the NW and I was heading SW....fortunately.

Thanks Dave, actually it looks colder that it was...still in the teens then, compared to the deep freeze we were in the week before it felt pretty good.

This is spectacular. I think you worked the view from the foreground just right and the colors on the horizon really compliment this. And this does look cold! I'm in Texas and this looks like the Arctic too me !!!!

Great shot Barb. When I first saw this I thought it may be better to crop off the little pieces of land on the top left, but after further review, I like how it shows the scale of the lanscape. Beautiful colors too!

The pink horizon against the blue is cool. Those textures in the ice are fascinating.

When I looked at this image at first, I thought it was shot in Antartica or somewhere like that. Intriguing textures in the ice. The sliver of sky in the distance makes the scene look so vast. Well seen.

Talk about seeing for miles! Excellent comp to portray the vastness of this scene. Makes me cold just looking at it. Nicely done Barb!

Barb,

HUGE sense of vastness here and a desolate, unforgiving environment. Wow! It must have been a good walk because I can't even invision this being near any human inhabitable area, let alone road or path. Great image!

Beautiful, but intimidating! Looks like a icy desert. Great capture - congrats on the EP Barb.
