Another Kayne classic! Color and contrast look absolutely perfect, Joe. And compression doesn't even seem to be hurting this much. Good photography!

Joe,

This is gorgeous! I'll echo MG's comments regarding color and contrast. Beautiful!

Great depth to this, provided by the unusually symetrical pointed leaves throughout. Nice splashes of color here and there.

You're killin' me, Joe! I'm cooped up in the house and you're posting killer images of spring. You're a bad, bad man.

Seriously, this is awesome. One of your best, IMHO.

Hi Joe,

WOW this is so cool. Maybe I should give up birds and start shooting large format ;) The soft light and colors here are just amazing, lovely work!

Good one, Joe. The lushness here is unexpected. Feels more like a swamp than a prairie.

Yes I love this one too! Very interesting how the plants are standing so erect and I really like the way the other colours are dispersed throughout the scene. Very nice, Tim

Thanks for the comments! I glad the tallgrass prairie, a very rare ecosystem, is very well appreciated! The tallgrass prairie is very difficult to photograph.

Again, thanks.
