Like most of you I have very few photos of myself. Here is one a friend took with my camera the other day. I enjoy this group and am learning a lot. I live in upstate NY (Albany area) and enjoy pix of nature with my Canon 300D or G2. Just starting to experiment with RAW files. As a scientist I find all the technical aspects interesting and challenging, but there is also the subjective artistic sense for composition, color, which is even more of a challenge. Thanks for sharing so much with me.

Hello Liam! My son attended SUNY Albany and lived there for 4 years. Compared to Long Island, it's nice to have some breathing room.
