This is a similar comp to my one with the blowing wildflowers I posted before, but the clouds were nicer and more dreamy during this shot.

Cracking shot, with awesome composition.
The use of a polarizer has done wonders with that sky aswell
I love it

Nice Rick!
Long fence and rolling hills make for great lines and shapes. Great exposure and cloud display.
I wish I could find scenes like this, but where I live they're not as distant and rolling, and almost always come with "Private Property No Trespassing" signs.

What makes this special for me for me is that the fence leads to a break in the clouds and gives the illusion of seeing infinity.
Excellent Rick!

perfect composition.
I'm not sure, if a sunnier hill would be more fitting to it. maybe, maybe not - it's strong as it is.

Cool shot Rick. I love the clouds. This almost has a Windows XP look to it.

Thanks for all the awesome comments! The detail in the fence really draws the eye. I never thought about the infinity up into the clouds...but you are surely right, Will.
I still remember making Mark screech the tires to a stop in the middle of the road, and whip his rig right around right after we passed this wonderful scene. I think it was one of my more productive photo days in a long time.

This is awesome. A simple scene with great lines, eyecatching detail and a nice mood created by the fluffy clouds.

Rick, you nailed this one dead on......the warmth of the wood and the greens of the grass are perfect to match the whiteness of the clouds..the only thing that I would do different is flip this around so that the fence is going from rigth to left....not sure why but thats the way my brain works and this looks backwards to me.....
would love to see this as a 20x30 print...wow!

One of the little details that really works for me is the texture in the wood of the fence rail on the far left. Great shot!

Dreamy and dramatic, I'd say. Sounds contradictory,I guess, but that's the feeling I get when I see this. And I'd have no problem looking at this grand landscape in a grand size. Gorgeous, Rick. Congrats on the EP!

Love this shot! I just can't stop looking at it. I imagine myself running down the length of that fence, as far as I can go. Excellent sky, great details in the shadows and of course, a fantastic fence. Rick, you hit the nail on the head for this one! Its great!
