Haven't posted an image in a while and thought I'd throw one up. Don't recall seeing one of these lately anyway. This is from Nome Alsaska a few years back..... in fact this is a scanned slide!!! Man I hate scanning slides now  Thanks for looking. Oh, by the way, this is a shed antler and not one walking around the tundra!

I love it as posted - talk about character. Great perch as well as background. A fine scan as well - I tried one recently and my skills in that area have seriously atrophied.

It is a treat to see this, Jim! :toast: Someone remarked that this Warbler winters here in Singapore and I believe I saw one yesterday. Amazing how far the little ones migrate!

Oh man, this is so good it hurts! Of all the hundreds of images of yours I've seen, this one ranks right up there at the top of my favorites. Killer subject (one I virtually missed in Nome), outstanding pose, and a perch to die for. I'd certainly fire up the old scanner for something this good!

Hey Jim,

Wow, I certainly haven't seen a better shot of this species !

I can sure empathize with you re: scanning any more. It's so painful. Still, this slide's certainly worth it.
