I never know where to put my horse photos, Man & Nature or Photo Art. Since this one has been ortonized I guess Photo Art is the best?
Photo was taken near Bend, Oregon. Let me know what you think

 Awesome Richard! The way that the BG just glows is what makes this shot for me. Fantastic job, and good call on the Orton treatment. Wow! This reminds me of a painter's style, that I used to look at in 'Southwest Art'...I just wish that I could remember his name.

I'm amazed - this must be a great photo to begin with. The light and shadows here are unbelievable. And the softness brought through the ortonizing just emphasizes it. Everything in this is perfect - the comp, the light, BG, even the rope, and open horses mouth.

This is incredible! I love the Orton effect, and it looks like you applied it to perfection. This is truly artful. Wonderful. Congratulations on the EP - very well deserved.

Thanks again to one and all, and for the EP. Have you ever had a photo that you stepped back from and can't believe its actually yours. This is mine. It looks awesome on my monitor but I admit to having some problems in printing it. I normally use velvet fine art paper but I lose all of the subtlety of color when I do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Congratulations on the EP. How about using a matte finish, i.e. Epson Heavyweight, Epson Matte or even watercolor paper.
