Hello! Yes, I'm afraid that this is what I look like. With that being said I like the fact that we can post member photos. It's nice to be able to put a face with the name. This photo was taken by a coworker and fellow photography enthusiast, Joe Plocki. Joe has posted several photos in some of the galleries himself. This photo was taken on WO2006, "Waterfall Odyssey 2006". A group of us took a day off last week and visited several waterfalls in SC and GA. We hit 4 falls in total. There's nothing like hiking 4 falls to make you feel "alive"!!! (ie. excrutiating pain) I'm just getting back to normal. We hope to make this a 2 part saga by taking another day later in the year and visiting some more falls. The outing got off to a rough start at the first falls, Brasstown Falls. One of the group tumbled 40 feet down and 70 degree slope toward the water's edge. I will spare you the rest of the details however I will say that he was fortunate and he only suffered from some scratches, a small gash on his leg, and some skiddish nerves. After about 30 minutes, when the shock wore off, he decided to stick it out and hike the other 3 falls. Well that's the end of the story. Thanks again for all of your comments and suggestions. I hope to see some of you on the trails some time.
