Arctic Fox

From my recent trip to Svalbard. I was sitting up in the cliffs shooting Dovekies, when suddenly this little fellow showed up, and approached to within a few metres.

Taken in dull evening light.

Awesome photo Helge! You did a great job of capturing his expression. The tilted head shows character. My only nit would be the OOF rocks in the foreground. However the subject more than compensates for it!

Sweet shot. I love the look and I think OOF foreground is fine, sort of frames the fox.

Thanks all for the very nice comments! I don't get to shoot many mammals, so it's a joy whenever I see one.

To Vincent, the fox is an adult - they are quite small - pretty much like a domestic cat.

Cheers, Helge
