WC#214 - Taking it to the Next Level

These two snowboarders had just dropped down from the ridge that I was on and their momentum didn't quite get them out of the valley between and over the next lower ridge so they had to dismount and hike for a short ways. I liked the long shadows, the early sunlight and the contrast against the deep shadow of the opposite mountain so I grabbed the shot. ISO-100, f6.3, 1/800

Wondershot, Gary. The snowboarders really give this a sense of scale and perspective, and the shadows give it a powerful mood. Conratulations on your EP.
