I Have not been here (or anywhere NPN) in a while. Just have not been happy with anything since Lake Martin.
Taken in Tupelo, where it seems I am stuck for a while, at the small botanical garden among the pickerel weeds.
Canon 1DMKII 70-200IS @ 180mm 1/1250 f5 iso400 with the 1.4 Teleextender which in retrospect just degraded the photos and reduced my light.

Nicely captured George as I know how hard it is to get one of these. They are usually non stop fluttering.

Hello George,

Really excellent shot you have captured here. Those black BF's can be very difficult to expose but I think you done a good job on this one. I also like the frame filling composition, well done.

Thanks much. I have a few of these, maybe they were quieter after Katrina or in NE MS.

George: I must have fallen asleep and missed this. What a superb image! Congrats on the EP, it is well deserved. BTW, where can I send the bill for my butterfly images?  There are a bunch of new ones there now if you're interested. >=))>
