Hi Andrés,

Great photo! The green leave over the awl´s head is a very minor thing and very difficult to avoid in such a cluttered environment.

I just came from Huelva, where I was taking photos by the sea, and now I am very sad I did not get to Grazalema!

Un saludo.

A wonderful owl, and a very lush setting. The leaves above the head do not bother me at all.

I think this would be even stronger with some of the main tree trunk cropped out - say about 1/2 of it to eliminate the out of focus branch pointed towards the viewer. With this excellent face-on eye contact the owl is very strong and a square format will not be a problem.

This is a great shot showing nature's visual protection. The owl does look just like the tree - or does the tree look like the owl?

Andres, this is fantastic ! The fall setting, the color palette, the camouflage all work well. It's quite a unique photo, since these birds are usually photographed either at night or at day roosts at other seasons.

Rich's suggestion has merit.

Fantastic in every way. I'd agree with losing the OOF branch on right side of trunk. brilliant!!

Very very very nice photo!!! It fooled me at the beginning. I thought it was just a plain foliage shot and thought this should be post on Landscaping forum.

I love everything about this image as is.
