here's a great shot from my recent trip to the bwca! this is supposed to be a portage. turned out to be not much more than 10 feet of mud

a bit about me:
-29 yrs young, wife and 1 child (Eli age 2).
-avid artist and photographer
-i have grown up with photography around all my life. my father is a professor of photography at Pacific University in Oregon. so i've had the benefit of hands on teaching since way back when, although, i must admit, my serious interest in photography didnt start until i was well grown and out of the house. but it still doesnt hurt to be able to give him a call to ask questions ;)

-born and raise in oregon, but moved to minnesota 6 years ago when i met my wife.
