I was on my way to the grocery store this Tuesday evening when I saw that the sky looked kind of interesting, so I took a little side trip over by the river. These terrific sunbeams developed. I got this sky with my little pocket point&shooter from the car window in a light rain.

Sony DSC-P100 set on P

handheld

I tilted the horizon a little so I had to rotate and crop the picture a bit. I wish I had had a wider lens.

Excellent shot Buck. Love the filtered upward rays and the perspective created by the 'closeness' of the clouds to the horizon line.

Good work. Shows that sometimes a big rig is not necessary to capture the moment, technically and otherwise.

This is pretty awesome. I do wish the foreground wasn't cut off so abruptly though.
