Shenandoah NP, VA

While camping at Big Meadows on a recent weekend trip I was lucky enough to have a day of fog and rain. Before the day ended and night came the rain had let up enough for me to to get a few images. This scene is relativly close to the campground. The fog lent an ethereal quality to the scene as the split rail fence receded into the BG.

Beautifully composed with the overhanging branch. Looks like great detail in the trunk. As you said, I like the depth of the image as the fence receds into the fog. Very well done.

Ed,
Great fog! I love the comp with the fence fading into the fog and the way the top branch frames the receding fence. Ethereal. :toast:
