Hi Simon, welcome to the Avian Gallery! :wavey: What an awesome shot!! :toast: Great wing position and crisp sharp. I would like to see it bigger in the frame as BG is busy and competes with the bird. Still an awesome shot!

Great shot Simon! IMO the framing is perfect as is the size of the bird. If it were any bigger you would have lost the nest hole and that's essential in this shot. Great planning and well done!

Hi Simon,
the only improvement would be a cleaner BG...but that is a minor nit, overall a stunning image! :toast:

The entire image works for me as presented. This is a behavior and habitat image, and it's all there. Excellent work!!

Wouldn't change a thing, beautiful shot which shows typical habitat well. Wonderully sharp, ok ok I would get rid of those 2 spikey things sticking up bottom right, how's that for a tiny nit ! Thanks for showing Simon. :toast:

This is just superb. Perfect in eevry aspect.

No need for a cleaner BG, that would be major problem for this kind of behavoir shot. Clean BG would be boring for this kind of shot.

Superb Simon!!

I also like it as framed.

I know a huge amount of work would have been involved, and full credit for that.
