Dandelion Seed Head

Here is another one from my Dandelion series. I lined this one up with a sun lit area in the background and the seed head in the shade. Used flash @ +1.0ev to illuminate the seed head. Mother nature supplied the dew on the seeds.

The background is great. Great job of fill-flash too. I know you have to cut these things off somewhere, but I sure wish there were more of the center of the flower. I also wish there were just a bit more depth of focus. All that said, I wish it were mine. Good photography.

WOW. This is quite an eye popping image. The composition and detail are amazing and that background is simply sublime.

Every image you post is better than the last one. I can't wait to see what you do for an encore to this.

Cheers,

Ronnie - This is drop dead gorgeous. If it were mine I'd have this printed and framed in a heartbeat. I'll be back to this one again and again.... Excellent shot!!!

Remarkable image, with great sharpness and details. Would have liked to see the bottom seed stem in focus and not cut off. Maybe a touch less magnification would have done it? The dew drops are an excellent finishing touch.
