Mourning Warbler

I have finished up my photography in Texas and will be heading home tomorrow. This was a teriffic season for me and it was topped off yesterday with this opportunity to photograph a Mourning Warbler.........if there were three species I wanted to photograph the most at the beginning of this trip, a Mourning Warbler in great light on an open perch would certainly have been one of the three. Canon 1DII, 600IS and afternoon light.

Wow!

It took me quite some time staring at the comment box to come up with that, by the way.

Really beautiful and sharp. I would prefer it a bit off center though.
