1DMK2, iso100, 1/8 at f22, 16-35f2.8 at 27, tripod, mirror lockup, cable release. Cropped for content (I don't have a sq. format and that's how I envisioned it), optimized in PS CS. Shot in Sedona, AZ on the way to red rock crossing. Any comments appreciated.

Wow, this is beautiful Renae. I think the chamber of commerce in Sedona could use this. It's very alluring and almost magical feeling.

Renae,
Very nice image. One of the best I have seen from this area. I'm just curious why you put this in the man & nature gallery. :toast:

Thanks everyone for your input, I really appreciate it. I put this in man and nature because of the houses dotting the hillside running through the center of the pic. It's hard to see this small, but printed big it's obvious.

This is excellent Renae. The framing is wonderful and a very unique way to present a landscape. I particularly like the texture in the tree trunks. All around a great image.

This is excellent Renae. I love the square crop and how you've placed the elements in the frame.

Best,
Sven

I'm going to Sedona next week. I hope I come home with a whole bunch of shots like this one (I'd settle for one). Congrats big time. The tones are wonderful - excellent shadow detail and control of highlights.
