Crimson-rumped
by Charles Gangas
I just returned from a photo scouting trip to Ecuador where we were checking out a few of the lodges for future trips. While returning one morning after photographing Antpitta we came across this Crimson-rumped Toucanet that had just scored some fruit. I didn't have quite enough clearance on the trail to shot over some of the leaves which accounts for the blur in the lower right edge of the frame.
