The sun had just come up over the horizon and it was very bright against the boats and pillion.  I played around with the ISO and tried to pull in the boats. I took the raw image into photoshop and changed it to B&W which gave me a little more play room with this high key image.

This looks like a great artistic photo, as opposed to "photo art."  There is very much a sense of very well composed and processed photographic image here.  I really like the graphic quality of the shapes and light.

I like this.  Well done.  I would agree with Tony's assessment.

This is a bold image, and the shapes and forms play out well, especially the pieces of wood and their reflections. The boats in the background add interest. I wonder about the large pile of black rocks, though. I might like to see a little detail in there, as it is kind of monolithic and dominates the left side with its intensity. Amazing that there is no discernible noise at such a high ISO!
