I just missed the fish disappearing down the Anhinga's throat, but you can see the swallow at least. Thanks for looking and any comments/critiques. Please be sure to look at the large image for best quality.

Nice pose and good timing, Phil. Looks like you got its meal about halfway down the throat. The disproportionately long neck reminds me of the Green Herons.

Excellent shot with great action, Phil!  You might have missed the fish but you can clearly see it going down!  I always find myself wondering what it must feel like to have that large a fish flopping around in your belly indecision

Nice detailed shot of the action.  I like the overall composition with the perch and green water.

Interesting to see the fish in the middle of the extended neck. Overall a very pleasant image with nice light. Well composed with good techs all around.

Excellent color and light.  The water is superb.  Very effective pose for this bird.

Great capture, Phil, and interesting water color. I've never seen an Anhinga swallow a fish up out of the water like that; always in the water. Cool.
