Hi Sandy,
Hummingbirds seem to pick favorite spots to hang out and guard nearby flowers. The lighting and pose are very nice. Your composition is ideal with the bird perched on the fence. Well done..........................Jim

Sandy love the way hummingbird's tail feathers fan out and the back lighting highlight its details. The visual makes me wonder and think what his next move might be. The bird with no legs. This image really pulled me in and tells a nice visual story. To continue Cecil F. Alexander's quote ... and their tiny feet.

A good example of what your new lens can do, Sandy. The detail in the Anna's plumage is outstanding. You got a great pose as well.
