Ethiopian Man
by Richard Sandor
I took this photo on a trip to Lalibela, Ethiopia, an area best known for its churches hewn out of solid rock. After visiting a remote church two hours drive from Lalibela, I saw this man seated on a rock outside the church. He sat in a small patch of soft afternoon light that separated him from the darker background. I liked his pose, native garb and that soft light. Olympus E-M1 and 12-100 lens at 1/500, f/8 and ISO 500. Richard
