I was privileged to explore this breeding pair of skulker after years effort in the Himalayan foothill forest near my home town Siliguri, they were bold enough to forage near me after spending few days with them.
Canon 7DII,700mm f5.6,1/400s,ISO 1000.
Thanks for looking and your valuable comments.

A very nice tight portrait of this beautiful bird.  Details are great.

I think the image is a bit flat as presented and has a lot more potential to show off the bird.  I did a few quick adjustments selecting the bird for targeted adjustments, but also add a bit of luminance to the entire image.

See what you think.  You can click on this to see a larger version.

Nice sharp portrait with good color and dof. The insect in it's beak adds interest. I like Kieth's suggestions.

It lookslike this one had babies to feed, Debapratim.  It does tend to make most birds a bit bolder.  Superb detail throughout and I love the colors.  Very well done.  I agree with Keith that it could have a bit more pop.

Excellent portrait of this colorful magpie, Debapratim. Awesome colors and great to see it with all the bugs in its beak. I think Keith's edits make this image more punchy.

Hi Dedapratim
The second posting is better.  The framing, color  and detail are right on.

Nothing I can add to what has been said. Keith's editing certainly gives a bit more oomph to the image.
